Anchor these bars were in the side streets away from the main square, quite a few of them when you get away from the touristy parts, a good Belgian Beer one as well. Didn't go to Auschwitz, my partner didn't fancy it, too sad and didn't feel right in going. I've liked it here, the Polish are great and very friendly and helpful and its really cheap here, and clean,but like you said it is like a lot of other European cities
