Really nice beer. They do a whole range of decent session ales. And they seem to own some really very nice pubs round the brewery in southwold. Lovely place, great food, great pubs...just a bit too BBC weekend retreat.

I'm sure it is. As are many british ales. But that photo makes it look just like the Trophy bitter you used to get in the Fleece in Horsforth. Which also looked, despite its location, like some cockney cunt had done the washing up. Place was always full of CID as well. And local gangster wannbee 10 bob millionaire types. I'm rambling now aren't I?

Spent 10 days in Orford last summer. The Adnams was superb. Lovely part of the world. Did miss the Pennines in the end. Cracking place for pork lovers and lovers of smoked food.

agreed re adnams. you can get their winter ale in marksy's, it's very nice. holidayed in east anglia last summer - preferred north norfolk to suffolk, but as we actually saw as much sunshine in the 10 days down there than we had in the rest of the summer up north we weren't too fussy.

North Norfolk - the bit that goes from Holkham bay round to Cromer is lovely. Southwold is different to that. Both are great places to go.

The best way to consume molson, is to lie on your back, with your feet over your head. Get someone to insert a long plastic tube attached to a funnel into your arse and get them to pour it in. That way you feel the effects quicker, without having the unpleasantness of tasting it. I once tried something similar in the brass rail and got kicked out, teeth first.
