Was thinking about drinking again but you lot make it all seem so confusing.

Those bags of ale look interesting. My sister has a restaurant, they were only doing take away. I wonder if she knows about bags of beer.

Jon the craft ale off licenses are confusing. The wacky branding doesn't make things clear. it's too much of a chore to find something that will likely appeal to me so I don't bother trying.

Foxy_Dread bloke that runs Little Leeds Beerhouse is great. Happy to explain stuff to folk and let them try stuff. If you like a certain type or brand he'll suggest other stuff when they get it in.
And he doesn't have a beard or loads of tattoos.

I'd argue there are four core beer styles with all this ponce malarky

West coast IPA - juicy with a bitter finish
New England IPA - low bitterness and a different flavour due to New England yeast (my fav style)
Stout/Porter (most mad as fuck and loads of adjuncts - peanut butter, marshmallow etc) and more recently all this barrel aged stuff
sours - fruity and sour - bit odd but if it's your thing they are lovely.

I supect the next thing will be the farmhouse stuff - flanders styles and saissons - i've a seen a few breweries doing it - a return the the Belgian style really.

The other thing is the hops - you like what you like - I am a big fan of citra and not so keen on sabro.

I've knocked booze on the head. Don't miss it.

When I drink I drink like it is the last party on earth and beer is running out. I can't do a middle ground drink.

Boxing day night I was so drunk - had a three day hangover then my wife showed me a vid I had no recollection of - it shit me up a bit.

I have had issues with drink for some time. I'm no alcoholic but I find it hard to stop and normalise feeling either drunk or hungover. Not good.

I want to just enjoy a few stouts or a few NEIPAS of a Saturday afternoon - not getting fucking mortal for eight hours.

This is the goal. I find it easier in a pub to take it steady. At home it's like 100 miles an hour....

I'm lucky after six I'm zonked and go to sleep. Not often I drink anywhere near six. Im going off it for a while, find that it's not often I really enjoy a pint, there are so many nondescript beers for my preferences that I'm completely underwhelmed.
