Placid’s Nightmares on Wax nomination for Our Tune along with EEPW’s for Leftfield nudged me to post this. 3 hours of sludgy 90s beats. Acts you’d expect such as Massive Attack, DJ Shadow (though in alternate versions or less well-known remixes), forgotten but excellent tunes by Ruby, Major Force West, ROC etc alongside mixes of artists who don’t necessarily come to mind as being tripped or hopped: Depeche Mode, Primal Scream, Cocteau Twins, Weller, New Order, Radiohead, Beasties, Terry Hall with Tricky etc
