Portsmouth were never in the top half from end August 11 even before points deduction. I might also add that anyone who saw the Portsmouth v Leeds game last season (Warnocks first) will know exactily why we have signed all those Portsmouth players, its te only time Colin saw another team play total anti football to the same level as us! Same as Howson, who's doing alright being played in the position where he can do alright.Its a business and like Beckford before him - this was Snodgrass's low risk chance to get a contract that sets him up so that even if he fucks up (like Beckford) he's sorted.As for the verbals, the whole panto thing is hilarious. The club appear to have been trying to off him for the right price for a while. so yeah, he's the villain. Funny how all the sales and signings seem to balance money wise. And I just wonder if due dilligence might just drag through to the transfer deadline... just wondering like.

Of course it will.. Bates will have it fixed up so that everytime they open a book of yet another offshore trust holding company it reveals a daisy chain of amortisations, hidden debt through a rake of other phantom offshore companies. A simple question like 'do you own Elland road?' could take weeks to unravel.
