The funny thing is, if 'Orrible Diouf' decides to stay, it would be an excellent signing. He can play up front or in midfield, he can cross, pass and slow the game down when needed. He has a great touch and reads the game well. In the great scheme of things, with him, Becchio, Byram, White, Austin and McCormack and a more solid looking defence, we might have the makings of a pretty good team.

Which means he'll be off by the end of the week...

Built his reputation on one good season with us. The 2 semi's and play off final one. He had Jon Harley behind him and McCall to his side and looked good. Unless he's changed, he is light weight, goes missing and can be bullied out of a game early. He looks like the thin one on laurel & hardy. Saying that he is good at set pieces. He's got a lovely big, white Audi 4x4, personalised reg and everything. So other people rate him.

The following year we took a 1-1 to the League Cup second leg Bramall Lane and won 5-2. We were a division below the blades at that point. We got to the semis of the league cup as a League 1 side. Only narrowly lost 2-1 to Boro aswell, Juninho, Ravanelli et al.

Now look at the fucking state of us. We only narrowly lost 2-1 yesterday as well. Against Woking.

Yep, he was one of several contenders for the title of worst manager in our history.

He once told a fans forum he'd had ten grand on us to get promoted. Everyone (well, almost) stood up and applauded his confidence. I think we finished that season in about 19th.
