Thats a shame, I liked Nunez - but he never had chance when a clogger like Brown gets the nod and Diuf came ... once gradel and snod left i thought nunez and Mcormack were the most skillful, speedy players we had.. and lets face it, we need some pace upfront.

And is he gonna be paid £40k a week? I thought Becchio was told he couldn't have more than £20k, which is why he's off.

Don't look upon it as buying a LB. Warnock said he wanted attackers I recall. This is about getting Aidy back on the right wing where he can do some damage.

I'm pretty happy with the swap. It's at least like for like I'd say and he's pretty quick Morison, Wales international etc. OK he's not been a full pro for that many years but he will know what it's like to drive a banger to work so I hope that has stayed with him and he's grounded.
Scharner has gone on loan to Wigan, that's a lad I would have liked to see in our midfield.
