Hands up who's underwhelmed by the names we're linked with?[/quote]That's just modern football isn't it, anyone with any genuine potential will hang out for a PL club, which then leaves Championship clubs, particularly those with only an outside chance of promotion or not particularly flush chasing journeymen players...Only hope is to get some decent loans in.Modern footballers don't strike me as having much in the way of backbone or character who want a challenge so why come to Leeds where there's high fan expectation and you might have to perform week in and week out. It's easier to sign for a nothing PL club or Championship club, be a squad player, if you get a 2/3 year contract on £10k+ a week, you're made for life without too much pressure, hassle or having to bend your back - happy days!
