I'm not passing judgement on the signings, i'm asking if anyone has reason to believe they are solid signings or could they be anything?Who would I sign? Only football I've watched in the past year or so is Leeds v Burnley, Halifax v Braintree and a few of the World Cup games, so i'm not really sure why you would want my suggestions.

I didn't watch it earlier, but Albert's enthusiasm piqued my curiousity.Albert you stopped watching after the fourth goal didn't you?The video is 9 minutes long, after 4 minutes 30 he has done all of his goals including those that hit him and go in, and he's onto the shots that he hits tamely at the keeper, the ones that bobble embarrassingly wide, etc etc etc. I stopped watching at 5mins 20sec.

I for one am genuinely excited about this season, the first time in years. Anything could happen…a catalogue of disasters, joyous passing football with a bit of Dirty Leeds thrown in and promotion or mid table obscurity. Whatever happens it won't be dull. As for the doom and gloom merchants, be gone with ye. I expect you to resurface mid-season exalting the virtues of Massimo and claiming you've been behind him all along.

French Del Boy is off, confirmed by Cellino. Sorenson is still on, he was at ER yesterday, hope we can pull that off, he's got nothing but good news following him. Lot's of Juve fans are a little bewildered as to why they're letting him go, but he is 3 or 4 down the pecking order for them. Nicky Ajose done, he's a Hockaday signing, looks like the kind of player we needed and still needed after that awful signing of Stewart from Hull. Means Morrison can now go in the middle rather than tinkered with on the left. I'm feeling optimistic, we've not seen this kind of transfer action and what looks to be a clear strategy to improve the side and plug gaps in years. That in itself might be amplifying the optimism, but at least some fuckers giving it a go and that's all we can ask for..
