I liked Smiffy. He was a useful tool and could change a game when brought on as a sub. His sheer size caused problems for defences and there's no doubt he knew where the back of the net was - 13 goals in his first season where he only played a bit part is not a bad return. He wasn't just an in the air player either, although the useless lazy bastards in our defence and midfield used to think he was and played hoofball. Having said that they used to do the same with the overpriced reject as well and he was only 4'6". I've a horrible feeling this one will come back to haunt us.

You can get more money when a player is on a contract - if he was winding down they could wait 6 mths and get him for nowt. Liked him tbh but he was a one trick pony. A decent forward should be able to do what he did and 80% more, not sure if soul man is that player, but I concur with above - hopefully a change for the better tactics wise.
