Therefore, if there is no loyalty to the club, or any club, any more by any player, what is the point of 'supporting' a club? I have thought this for a long time, now. If you're just supporting 'brand' Leeds, whoever plays for or owns it, then it's a bit like supporting LIDL or NEXT, isn't it? What bit are you supporting? The nostalgia? The history? It's certainly not, currently, the sensible management, great signings, outstanding football or anything worth parting with your hard-earned dosh for, is it?Just a thought.

I listened to a red podcast this week featuring Neil Mellor and Chris Kirkland.The whole premise was around pre-season and motivation, but I was surprised when Neil stated that there are a vast amount of players out there who just want the wage.They don't get the rivalries, the derbys, and all this in it together is a load of bollocks. The hopes and dreams from the terraces for unity, a shared cause, is nonsense.£30K per year on a three-year deal makes double millionaires all over the shop.
