It's not even true, it doesn't take into account what we have sold if we are assessing investment. Our squad has it nett fuck all.

Yes true enough. Newspapers don't have access to all the numbers anyway , do they?

Tyler Roberts, Yosuke Ideaguchi....... Any others?

Mitaman

I honestly think we only need a couple of players, one of which must be a very hard bastard, perhaps a known psycho pure evil. although you don't see that sort of character too much these days.

king_of_the_slums

We've got Viera, Forshaw, Saiz (maybe), Ideguchi and Pablo in midfield, none of them wingers, with Dallas and Aloiski as back up.

I'm assuming Coyle likes to get forward? I've never seen him play. Ayling too, seen enough of him and rate him at wing back and CB.

Splash out some cash on one more proven goalscorer and possibly a midfield enforcer type..

Give Captain Peacock the No# 1 jersey. Keeper has been our bogey position for like 10 years, don't fuck it up by getting in someone above him. Work on the defence and Peacock will get better. Get the defence working as a unit, knowing their roles and I'd like to see the young Finnish international Aapo pushing through as a fourth choice CB. Pennington can stay, but I'd be offering a max of 2.0m for him and tell Everton to get to fuck because he's a product of their youth and still needs polishing! Cooper needs to play L1 I think, too many glitches at his age, he's in his prime.

And remember, it's the hope that kills you...

That would be fantastic. Great partner for Pontus.

They'll tell us any old shit.

As for Janssen his dying swan act at Preston should see him banished to the netherworld of Thorp Arch for all eternity.

And I've not forgotten the great swedish warrior trying to head a ball around a foot of the ground v Barnsley.

I'm trying to see the positives.

Mmm. I've got used to it but was never a massive fan but I'm a right moaning old cunt with a liking for baseless nostalgia.

Rudi

Looks you've got Abel incoming.

If you can keep him fit then you've got a 20+ goal a season striker.

Gutted, if I'm being honest.

Fuck the Allams.

Cutsyke

Thought he was on his way to Wolves. We're collecting injured strikers. This one looks like a good bet though.
As for PJ, I'd be happy to cash in a try bring Bartley back and see what it would take to get that big lad from Bristol in. Flint. I do have my doubts about a second act for Bartley.

Get what you mean about Bartley, like going back out with an ex girlfriend, never the same , end in tears.
Thing I liked about Bartley apart from him being a good cb, he seemed to make those around him better players, especially Pontus And Ayling .

Cutsyke

He did make them better players. Him and Ayling worked well and he was capable enough to cover as PJ headed clear and, he surely made Green feel a lot more confident. Can lightening strike twice though?

Mike_Jones

Bartley and Ayling are best mates, both at Arse youth. If Bielsa arrives Jansson will shut his mouth, plenty of players want to play for him. Maybe Jansson will stop the onfield histrionics as well and just play footie.
