The thing people keep forgetting with all these possible moves is that we're not talking about buying and selling a nearly new Ford Mondeo. We're talking about real live people with wills of their own. If they get a chance at a big payoff and a huge wage rise elsewhere then it's really up to them what happens. You can't lock your favourite player in the basement and make them want to play for you.

Every player is one bad tackle away from the end of their career and if I had a young family and the big money came knocking I know what I'd be thinking. The best we can hope for is that we make enough money on a move outwards to replace and improve.

I feel, if we don’t sign a central defender and striker. We will be the same as last season. Not quite good enough. We’ve shipped quite a few out , there must be wriggle room.
We signed Bamford and Douglas around now last season, fingers crossed there’s a couple to come in .
Tyler Roberts could be a big player for us this season, like him a lot, nothing to do with him being Welsh.
