He's a winger who's scored 16 goals this season. Can't see it happening - why would Ull let us take him on loan-to-buy if we get promoted? A middling Prem team will bag him for low 20s - but fingers crossed, Bielsa is a big draw.

The thing about Bowen is, he hs to go somewhere as he's out of contract in the summer. Hull have to sell but he will want wages commensurate with someone with a £20m price tag. I can see Kinnear being tight and him dismissing any offer from us.

Phil Hay reckons Hull have no appetite for a loan to buy and Leeds can't pay up front and not fall foul of FFP. Looks like a dead duck to me. The remaining question is who cN Hull sell to and who would Bowen want to go to? This transfer window shuts and he's worthless to them, out of contract in the summer. Might ours be the best offer for them and him?

One that will go to the wire and give us all a heart attack.

Ull have the option of another year on his contract. They want to offload a player who will be unhappy but they won't do it on the cheap.

Alan Nixon has got a pretty good record when it comes to transfer stories. Leeds United fans are desperately hoping his latest exclusive has got legs.

Nixon reported on Thursday that Leeds have lined up a loan-to-buy deal for Hull’s Jarrod Bowen.

The offer? £3m upfront as a loan fee followed by £12m if Leeds get promoted. If they don’t get promoted? They’ve just paid probably the biggest half-season loan fee in the Championship and Bowen would go back to Hull.

Nixon himself said on Twitter, “This is not just clever… it is by a mile the best on the table as we speak.’

He also said he was “quietly impressed” with Leeds director of football Victor Orta for making the offer. He called Orta’s move a “cunning plan” and also that the Leeds bid had been made.

Fulham 4pts off us. The pack is closing in and our squad isn't robust enough for another 19 games, that much is clear.

Squad of 26 outfield players which includes 8 who have never laced a boot for the first team. Roberts, Forshaw and probably Dallas injured. It's paper thin and not something we can address in a transfer window.

I'd like to see the likes of Bogusz and Edmondson on the bench and hopefully Shackleton is fit enough.

We have to beat QPR or there is blood in the water and the likes of Fulham, Forest etc will have all the motivation they need.

I saw that about Emil, sounds a hood prospect. Leeds don't want to be paying all of Grays wages, 80k a week isn't it, crazy. Had a good record at Burnley not so at Watford, not getting many games so is he match fot ?
