The pre Millwall press conference with Marcelo Bielsa is at 12.30pm today. #lufc
Andrea Radrizzani is at Thorp Arch today #lufc
Bielsa here now. On Augustin: "He has good mobility, he involves himself in the combined play of the team and he has a lot of presence in the box." Doesn't think he'll be involved against Millwall tomorrow after arriving today.
On the striker search: "We analysed all the options Victor Orta gave us and all of them were good. Finally it was Augustin who we got." Says Leeds won't make any more additions in this transfer window. Business done.
Augustin replaces Nketiah. Poveda replaces Clarke. Bielsa says Leeds have what they were looking for in January and have what they need. "We resolved the needs of the team." Very pleased with the backing he's been given.
Kalvin Phillips suspended tomorrow. Bielsa confirms that Ben White will replace him in the central defensive mid role against Millwall. That will be the only change
Bielsa says the break between games has been useful for working with White in a midfield role. Has also allowed Shackleton and Roberts to get fit again. They're available
Dallas
tuart Dallas up now. On Augustin: "It's been well documented that people have been crying out for us to sign a striker. The club have done that. It's a big boost for us. It's given us more strength in depth
Dallas on Poveda: "He's fast and direct. He's fitted in really well. It's good because I haven't seen a player take to a group as well as he's taken to us. I'm being serious. He's lively.
We did the murderball session last week and I was up against him. I found out how quick he was."
