Thats how the likes of Brighton survive. A well run club getting as much as they can for players.
However:
I dont know White or his mentality but he seems a decent lad and one that wants to play football. It upsets me when players like him are basically used as financial pawns by a club with little actual respect for the players long term development. Sell him to the highest bidder who will already have internationals in the starting line up and on the bench before him which resigns him to 18 months in the under 23's coupled with yet more lower league loan spells. 18 months to 2 years is a hell of a long time for a players playing career.
Of course some players wont mind that as they are getting a good wage and the prestige of a top club thrown in as well.
