I wonder if there’s a large disparity between the wages the newcomers are on versus what the rest of the players are on and if that would cause problems at some point?
There’s more money in the game these days too. Also, it’s a bit of a catch 22 situation. Do you role the dice on staying up without strengthening significantly or do you spend and, at least in theory, improve your chances of staying up?

Placid It is indeed a language isolate, pre-dating Indo-European. It is reckoned that the Basques are the closest living relatives to Cro-magnon man. Dan James, I’ve only seen him a few times for Man Utd but I keep thinking we got lucky not getting his transfer over the line. Maybe he’s good in the games I haven’t seen? In which case why would they want to sell?

If he'd of come 18 months ago , he might of made a difference and got us up a year earlier. He seams to of lost a lot of confidence this season. He's young enough for Bielsa to get him back on track , if he came . Personally, don't think we need him so much now .
