Harvest Reggie_Perrin I'm not sure how long they can all stick around without wanting first team football, Shackleton, Gotts, Bogusz, Edmondson, Stevens, McAlmont. Douglas will be gone. Believe it or not I think De Bock is still on the books, he was shit. I think we still have Grot too.
heyho A good point made during the commentary on saturday - the difficult thing for Leeds will be getting players that train, play, live the Bielsa way. That might limit us to some of the 'on paper' talent but excitingly might well unravel some unknown who will set the world on fire.
Reggie_Perrin Harvest yeah and most will be overtaken by the younger lads brought in and who smashed the U23s. Bielsa likes Bogusz by all accounts and is looking forward to him coming back from his year loan. Aberdeen will want Edmondson I bet.
Foxy_Dread Yes almost all of those named by Harvest will be gone, Shackleton should be looking to go himself, he needs to move. If I was Poveda I'd be considering going as well or at least looking for a loan. That's interesting Reg re Bogusz are you confident that's still the case? McAlmont will do okay somewhere by all accounts, just not at Leeds.
doggybag The few times I've seen Davis, I've liked him. Perish the thought but Marcelo may need to expand his core unit. I like Pereira at West Brom, seems a hard worker too. He might be a fit and we might be able to pay his wages.
Foxy_Dread doggybag I hope he doesn't expand the squad size. That way comes back biting non playing bitches. Keep it trim and if we are desperate throw the kids in. The kids aren't coming from top academy's to Leeds to play U23s on a training pitch for long. With wastage there is room for two or three senior signings. Some of the kids have to be drip fed into the first team if we are to remain a destination of choice.
Bod Bielsa likes to keep players he rates close by, ie, U23,s, the ones they loan out are surplus to requirements so will be sold or loaned again, don't know about Bogusz though, wasn't he sub for a load of games and never used.
