Yes almost all of those named by Harvest will be gone, Shackleton should be looking to go himself, he needs to move. If I was Poveda I'd be considering going as well or at least looking for a loan.

That's interesting Reg re Bogusz are you confident that's still the case? McAlmont will do okay somewhere by all accounts, just not at Leeds.

The few times I've seen Davis, I've liked him. Perish the thought but Marcelo may need to expand his core unit. I like Pereira at West Brom, seems a hard worker too. He might be a fit and we might be able to pay his wages.

doggybag I hope he doesn't expand the squad size. That way comes back biting non playing bitches. Keep it trim and if we are desperate throw the kids in. The kids aren't coming from top academy's to Leeds to play U23s on a training pitch for long. With wastage there is room for two or three senior signings. Some of the kids have to be drip fed into the first team if we are to remain a destination of choice.

Bielsa likes to keep players he rates close by, ie, U23,s, the ones they loan out are surplus to requirements so will be sold or loaned again, don't know about Bogusz though, wasn't he sub for a load of games and never used.

I agree, look at possibly converting Raphina to a 10. Not sure where we fit Rodrigo. If Raphina moves inside there's room for Povada , he's young and got potential.
I don't think we need much recruitment, but mentality of players coming in , will be a big factor.
Youngsters coming through have already got the Bielsa way ingrained in them , which is a plus .

There is an issue with Bielsa though, his loyalty to his players is commendable and buys their commitment to everything he says and asks. However loyalty to players and willingness to give them time to find their form when it dips blocks the pathway for the youngsters. Can he balance both needs?

Foxy_Dread yeah that's a good point, you can't really see much opportunity for these young players coming through and breaking into the first team. A lot of managers would play some in these final games, but Bielsa won't do that, he won't drop players who have played well all season just to give a youngster a chance

Why would you bring Ralph into the 10 role? Who would you play on the wing in his place?

Jon For me there are so many reasons, he's two footed, can beat a man on either side, he would get on the ball a lot more, he can pick out a pass, he has a phenomenal work rate. In short I think he would be unplayable. There are times on the wing we just don't get the supply to him and his contribution is limited.

Jon I agree, can't see that happening when you have Rodrigo, but he hasn't shone this season, hopefully a pre season will do him good, I'd say a LB and a creative midfielder. I agree now @Foxy_Dread we probably don't need a signing for Phillips role, we have Koch and Forshaw if he ever plays again

Foxy_Dread All great reasons. I expected nothing less. You know a lot more about the game than I do. That said, we seem to create a phenomenal amount of chances already, converting those chances is more of an issue. Who would you replace him with?

Jon Costa unless he moves on. That way Poveda or even Summerville will get game time as well from the bench and we find out if the young ones are good enough.

Bod I would think to get him on board with the delay they explained the situation and gave him a promise they would sign him this year. Hard to imagine they would have risked alienating him.

Foxy_Dread yeah, it was good business last year to ensure we could spend on others to be be honest. No reason to not sign him now, particularly as £10m is realistically about £15m below market value.

I woke up in a sweat this morning. Dreamt Spurs has accepted a bid from City of 120 million for Kane and then tabled a 40 million bid for Bamford. I won't sleep a wink till the new season starts.
