Zipper A few lads on Twitter have seen Phillips for the first time ever, he's man of the match, and now he's on their shopping list, aye, course he is. Born and bred about two miles from the ground, fought his way through the ranks, booed at home games, booed at away games for awful performances as a kid, completely reinvented himself and changed his whole body shape under Bielsa, works his knackers off every game, slowly developing into a complete midfielder, Leeds through and through and going nowhere. Do you take 80m for Phillips? Not with Bielsa you don't, this is football done differently. It is built on relationships and the trust and respect that comes from that. Go down the cattle market, players as commodities route and the wheels come off.

Bielsa has been at Leeds longer than any other club, why? Because the individuals and the club as a whole have bought into his very essence in a way no other club has ever done.

I'd like to think he wouldn't leave or us willing to sell . Realistically though ,everyone has a price . What's his earning potential at Leeds, 50K a week? A move anywhere who could pay 80 or 90 Mill fee , would guarantee him north of 200K a week.

Zipper he was England's best player today by a country mile. Even some of his fouls were skilful. Look at the talent on that pitch and then reflect on the fact that almost every commentator and pundit across the world had him as their MOTM.
Ask Southgate before the next match who he'd rather have in his starting 11. KP will literally be first on the list.

In all fairness they are waxing lyrical over Phillip's so maybe I may be wrong

Zipper the entire transfer market is a joke but KP is consistent, has a great 'engine' and, most importantly, seems to have a brilliant attitude and approach to being a professional footballer in the utter madness of the modern game. I suspect there isn't a Premier League manager that wouldn't sign him if they could.

But what I see which I can only judge on that he comes across as a 100% professional with a tremendous attitude.
