albert_herbert_hawkins who’d be an upgrade on Ayling? Thought he handled the step up magnificently. Klich looked burnt out at one point. Did he have covid?

Jon I don't know, I don't have an issue with Ayling other than we've probably stretched him as much as we can. I'd certainly want to hang onto him as he is versatile. He's just starting to look a little like the poor relation given the quality now in the backline, same with Cooper though Ayling has more in his locker.

Ayling's a card. If I was let anywhere near the scoreboard controls I'd be flashing up a row of straight 10 point cards whenever he performed a flop.

Zipper yeah, steer well clear. He's been talked up too much, suspiciously so. Not worth the money. His record isn't great, didn't do anything at Villa, they sold him at a loss to Boro and he's never scored more than 8 in a season. Only notched 27 his whole career. Wouldn't be at Wolves if he was any good.

albert_herbert_hawkins The issue I have with Ayling is the same issue I had with Peter Crouch. They're both good players, it's just they seem so uncoordionated when they move they never look like they're playing good football, even when they are playing good football.

I'm not sure that will make sense to anyone other than myself.

Leeds United are pleased to announce the signing of Lewis Bate.

The midfielder joins the Whites from fellow Premier League side Chelsea for an undisclosed fee.

Bate, who attracted interest from a number of clubs, has penned a three-year-deal at Elland Road, running until the summer of 2024.
