Flaneur a good mate of mine in the sporting press, biiiggg Liverpool fan is utterly underwhelmed if Rapher is deemed a replacement for Mane. I totally agree with him, but if we can get a deal worth 60m for him, we have robbed someone in my personal opinion.

Minamino is a great little player, his best attribute to me is that he has a superb awareness of where the goal is, at any point. If it happens, I think he'll do well for you.

Brazil no. 19 looks handy. Otherwise the highlight has been the Japanese commentators’ continuing pronunciation of Vinicius as Vinny Shoes. Always makes him sound like he’s one of Tony Soprano’s soldiers.

Richarlison on as sub for Raphinha kicked the back of a Japanese defender’s leg in the area, went down and the ref bought it. Neymar pen, 1-0 Brazil and that’s how it stayed. You could tell it was a friendly because Richarlison didn’t then go down feigning concussion every time he headed the ball. Minamino fairly quiet.
