I think a lot depends on Bates still being in charge - I genuinely think he wants to stick with Grayson and is not expecting promotion to the Prem, cos if he was then I think we'd have seen some bigger transfer fees being spent. Still, it might happen yet.
I like the Paynter signing, the rest I am open minded about. I hope they are ok. But Grayson has lost most of the trust I had. He closed his eyes and hoped we had enough. It worked, just. I came away relieved and hoping for change in plan and a bit of focus. More not quites and probably nots don't fill me with hope. Just confusion. I don't see the plan. IF we're not blooding all these fantastic youngsters we supposedly have, then I am a bit worried.
No being ultra bleak at all, the last half of the season wasn't good enough. We need to start well and go for it.
