Mega_Armageddon_Chickens Orta has a lot to answer for for release clauses. Seems like he was banking on staying up and whacked any ridiculous release clauses in at the agent's request as it was the only way he could get players to sign (The last time LUFC gambled so heavily was with ITV Digital and we all know how that ended.). Some players and the agents obviously saw through that, looked at the shambles Marsch (impossible for Marsch to be a worse coach than I suspected) created and fucked them off anyway, eg Gakpo.
Neither am I sure they destroyed their transfer value by shit performances. You could see early doors that the Marschball recruits were not up to scratch as they can't control the ball nor pass it, and I include Adams in there. His anticipation and positioning is good and enables him to win the ball but he's no clue what to do with it once he's won it. I'd like to see a fit Sinisterra run the Championship ragged, but can he stay fit or will he stay?
