Djpekingman he would have more time on the ball in the Championship you would think. Less chance of him making a mess of the pass.

Adams is a good player. He’s not Batty or Phillips but he gets his foot in and plays it simple to better ball players. Bizzarely these types of player are in short supply it would seem.

Its easy to be critical. Personally I think he woukd be a massive player for us this season if stays and keeps fit.

Placid The getting his foot in, I don't have an issue with. But way too often he doesn't see the simple ball, doesn't have the ability to play the long ball, and ends up giving it away again. Not sure about having more time in the championship either. Its generally more manic than the prem.

He's alright. Meat and potatoes kind of guy.

He would have played more for us, but we had some solid options. They they got crocked and he came in and performed better that I thought he would do.

Placid To be fair he was 27 when we signed him - supposedly at his peak, so in todays world 26 mil for a current Spanish international No 9 is not a bad price. Always got the impression no manager knew what to do with him or how to play him as he wasn't necessarily a team player pre se. He also tended to get injured just as he seemed to be on a roll which knocked right back to square 1. He knew where the onion bag was though, many of his goals being conjured from nothing or half chances or made for himself by hard work and running. I liked him.
