The chatter around Buendia I find exciting. Leeds wanted him once before. Now it 'seems' Villa are willing to part with him but Leeds have to commit to taking him permanent if promoted. He's had a few knocks but he's a proper safe cracker and would solve that problem Aaronson has in the final third. He can let fly from outside the box as well as anyone.

Harvest if we don't strengthen and we miss out there will be some finger pointing. It's clear where our weaknesses are. Not bringing players in that will cost us maybe £20m to £30m could cost us £250m.

Reggie_Perrin and the other side of that is where does it leave us if we shell out 30m and don't go up. We already know the drop in income will require sales, this would compound that further.

Then there is the issue of who could you get to come to the Championship with no guarantees.

I remember Bogusz from the Aussie tour, Marcelo's first season I think. I liked the boy; had a cannon in his right boot. Dunno what happened there but then I dunno what happened with loads of Leeds young talents. Have had my doubts about the use of academy for a long time now. Apart from Archie (he's very special tbf) they never seem to get a game.
