Firpo, defensively I'm sure there's a few better, attacking not many . As long as Solomon is LW & Gruev LCM (not likely this season) then any LB is going to struggle.

Few is right! He was the 6th best defender for defensive qualities in the whole EFL last run out.

Foxy_Dread he’s 6th outside the premier for “defending.” I don’t see him as a bad defender. Decent squad player. Now we need two LBs and have lost a 12 to 15m fee.

king_of_the_slums the defensive metrics on fotmob etc are superficial in my opinion and don't capture the full picture..

What about the times Firpo was left in the middle with two men to mark. I'd want my players to see that situation developing and be screaming at a team mate to help him out as the situation is unfolding. Things like that aren't picked up by fotmob.
