Chopper_Read Bogle was the first pick by the data team, in consultation with Farke who signed off, compared to Tanaka who was Farke's pick and the data team supported the hire by analysing his numbers.
The 2nd & 3rd data team picks were Largie & Schmidt, they were brought in to add depth & a chance to impress at the last minute in the window. How much say Farke actually had in these two remains to be seen. I suspect both were dropped on him, with a, “give these two a try..”
Now Farke, Underwood and Evans all have to sign off on hires. This was only thrashed out in the summer and probably why the 49ers leaked the “Farke getting sacked,” rumours to their stooge at The Mail, to add spice to, who does what and who has a say..
