"Fortuna Dusseldorf have pulled out of a deal to sign Shon Weissman due to the player’s social media comments on the Israel-Gaza war, which the club say are “not compatible” with their values.

The 29-year-old had already travelled to Dusseldorf and underwent medical tests ahead of completing his move. However, on Tuesday, Dusseldorf posted on their social media: “We looked into Shon Weissman intensively, but ultimately decided not to sign him.”"
