I’m old school, I like players who put a shift in when they put the shirt on and he does that in abundance.
He’ll always divide opinion for reasons not necessarily ability related I’d imagine.

Fans will always have their opinions on players but the club haven’t just shelled out new contracts to Bogle,Rodon and Aaronson because they’re shit footballers.

He’s on the cusp of been a very good footballer but, opinion as you say, I’m not sure he’ll ever get there. Putting a shift in is the minimum I expect from a professional footballer.
I’ll never warm to him for the reason you alluded to. Expecting some kind of loyalty is naive on my part but also that connection to a club, any club, is a large part of why professional football exists in the form that it does and footballers are able to earn ridiculous amounts of money playing a game.

Then again with the transfer fees we’ve seen this summer, God knows how much an upgrade would cost.

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk is available to return to playing immediately after resolving his doping case with the Football Association.

The Ukraine international, 25, has not played a competitive match since November 2024, having been provisionally suspended after returning an "adverse finding" for banned substance meldonium.

He was subsequently given the maximum four-year ban by the FA but appealed against the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas).

The FA said anti-doping disciplinary proceedings have now been resolved with Mudryk and he can return to competition "with immediate effect" after he accepted breaking anti-doping rules and agreed to a suspension equal to the time already served.

Mudryk said he was "grateful" to able to return to playing after "the most difficult period" of his career.

He added: "As I have always maintained from the outset of this case, I have never knowingly or intentionally taken any banned substance."

Chelsea said they are looking forward to helping Mudyk "return to full fitness, back into the squad and back onto the pitch" and he will join the club's pre-season tour.

Mudryk said he expresses "deep gratitude" to everyone at Chelsea and is looking forward to the "next chapter" of his career.

As John said. Should be the absolute minimum we expect.
Mudryk. Obviously a talented player, who seems to have lost his way a bit.
We don't really have the luxery, or time, for him to get back to speed.

What does it say for Okafor if we bring in another winger or is his injury record a concern?
We still need to offload Ramazanni too if Farke’s no plans for him.
James and Gnonto still around too so you’d think a central striker would be top priority.

Raposa they do need cover for Okafor, he's never fit, doesn't last 90 minutes and injury prone, Farke doesn't like Gnonto, rarely plays him and Dan James isn't good enough
