We do need a hard man in midfield but didn't Brown just sit on his arse the last half of the season at Pompey rather than negotiate a compromise on his contract and play? Great attitude we're bringing to the dressing room there, and he'll be suspended half the time too.

theres this new initiative next season. We're going with an 8 man squad, all Leeds lads natch, and 3 fans get the chance to pay to play a game with their heros. he's also selling standby sub slots for 60% of the face prices.

A mate of mine recently compared our transfer situation to going out to a Prom and asking out all the unrealistic fittest girls first, and when they turn you down to go with someone, you try work your way down the list, only to realise the girls who are nice but a bit further down now have dates. So what you are left with is the monsters who have teeth instead of where an eye ball should be.

Dropped in here to see if Leeds were actually going to buy anyone rather than promote youth team players- that's not to say that the lads from the youth squad are in any way bad but the exodus from the club has even got occasional fans worrying.

The word is that there will be two signings in the next couple of days, with a chance of a couple more as well. Fork knows who they are though, but Bates has declared it would take 'ridiculous' money for any of the players to be sold by us now.

We sold the Fat Lad who let in over 70 goals, Kilkenny who most people thought was shite and Bradley, who has delusions of grandeur, tries hard but not very good.

Anyway, if we had some great signings and a brilliant team what the f*ck would we have to moan about :D
