Just heard an interview with our chief scout Mervyn Day on Radio 5 Live, while he was at Brisbane Rd watching a friendly between Orient and Spurs. He didn't let on much but he did mention that Leeds couldn't afford any of the Spurs players on display and made reference to budgets a couple of times so that was clearly on his mind.
