Some talking points for this test would be;

Overall tactics by England, declaration, field settings, Brook bowling an over etc
Aussies very defensive field settings first innings
Bairstow, can't drop him, but he has fumbled a few. What to do if anything?
Still not convinced by Crawley, but he had a reasonable knock first innings. Technically poor for second out.
Is Duckett the world's smallest cricketer? Still finding his way at the moment it seems.

Anyroad, let's hope for a great finish to this test.

Cooley it was a great match. Reserve spinners and a lack of venom in our attack was the difference.

Broad and Robinson don't have that snap and aggression if truly class fast bowlers. Pity.

I'd like to see some more needle and fire. It's The Ashes ffs.

Reggie_Perrin Jimmy’s yet to turn up. Moeen’s fucked and rusty. Broad’s fiery spells are few and far between, and Robinson’s hit and miss. Stokes is injured and Root’s a part-timer. That’s our bowling. ‘Rest’ Anderson and get Mark Wood in. Can’t say I’m a huge fan of Wood though - pace yes, but not enough wickets for me, and he gets injured too often. We simply don’t have the bowlers, pace or spin. And when Anderson and Broad retire (which’ll be very soon), we’ll struggle to bowl out an OMJ XI.

The Aussies privately must not be able to believe their luck at Stokes's ultimately self-defeating gung-ho-ness. He and McCullum need to dial it in just a bit. Not every single thing needs to be outside the box.
