Biggest art heist in history. Big fan of art theft. Read a few books about this and also visited the gallery the year after. Great to see the guard stood next to an empty frame. Wish I’d taken a photo.

If I make it to my 80s I’m absolutely going to rob some top art. I’ve been casing places for a while now.

I have. Read about one Boston crook, might be Miles Connor, telling the Feds he could negotiate the return of a painting in return for time off his sentence. They said they’d consider it. The painting was stolen a few days later.

I love this stuff. Art valuations are so obscene.

Three episodes in and it’s really good. Actual FBI agents interviewed, wiretap recordings played. Interview with the guard who used to have his mates over to hang out and do mushrooms in the gallery. It’s a bit of a passion of mine but I would recommend it.

Mega_Armageddon_Chickens Might go sooner but it’s my only ambition in life. A nice Monet over the fire place. Some of the places I’ve been and paintings I’ve seen it would be a shame not to nab something, as long as no one got hurt.

Have you seen American Animals? Could’ve done it without hurting that lady. I’d call it off before I’d hurt someone.

Mega_Armageddon_Chickens Good film. He had some good ideas when it came to acquiring art. I’m not in it for the money though. American Animals is a good film. Not sure how it slipped under the radar.

Extremities is good about people in remote places but the bloke doing it doesn’t have a great podcast voice. Same time and inflection for each sentence irrespective of what he’s saying. Still, Pitcairn Island sounds like my kind of place.
