Christmas in the mental home..Some might know that our kid is in a mental home, has been for a few years but he's fine, still has a wicked sense of humour and he loves it in there. I was asking my mum who's 75 for some ideas and she couldn't come up with anything. Then she rang me the other day and said what about getting him a couple of those dvds he loves. I asked which ones? So I had to ask her to repeat it and she did a bit louder. It's the saddest thing ever harvest. My brother was a tour de force. I look at him and could burst in to tears every time. Everyone in the home has a past that put them there. Nicky was homeless and roofless and dangerous and fuckin scary eyond words. I get happiness knowing he's safe and well and sis the rest of the community. He's has a life and now he dissent. Waste of a life like you wouldn't believe. But he is happy. Really happy. He's been offered alternative but he won't do it part medication part illness. I get comfort seeing him laugh. Even if he's laughing at people far worse. It breaks my mums heart every time she goes. But she goes every week and she's he's safe. All the other residents get no visitors. That's awful but true. We bought presents for the while home. It mental but rewarding and . Upsetting but I tell the truth we laughter a lot
