But then he gets his phone out and shows me a picture of someone else in his shop who was famous but he doesn't know who he is.. there he is, arm in arm with Elton fuckin John!!.. so John Leslie has made it to the wall but Elton hasn't
You just reminded me. There's a place on Koh Pangnan, little but swanky Thai restaurant, had photos of Revie and the early 70's Leeds team up behind the bar. I pulled the lad over and asked about them. They were real photos and look to have been there years. He said they were his old man's and he left them up after his death. Weirdest thing ever, proper little backwater place, there's Revie grinning at me from a warped old photograph.
