Jon I remember when George from Nightmares On Wax first played Public Enemy's Rebel Without A Pause. We were only a little group. The Hyde Park lot. The 501. Chan. The Little London. Can't remember if we'd fallen out with Latty and the MPs (that didn't end well).
But when that tune was played (Tommy and I had heard it, we had another of the handful of copies) the place went mental.
There were other tunes and other moments. I worry that they'll be lost.

Jon I get that. That Chase & Status video reminds me of the energy from those nights in the 80s. Wild, mad, downright fucking dangerous at times. But when the right tune was played in the right place. And I was there with the right folks that got it......priceless

Travis_Bickle it reminds me of some of the stuff that you’d hear in Twilight Zone. I always felt a bit scuzzy in them places whereas the dub spots would make me feel warm and fuzzy.

It’s great music isn’t it, all the different tastes people have and music they’re moved by?

Jon to be honest, I thought that out of the 3, Mani struggled. Supposedly Reni was feeling his age, but I thought he & Squire were top notch/effortless.

All 3 should still be making music, and that’s why I’m prepared to be overly praiseworthy of Gallagher & Squire.

king_of_the_slums I remember first time seeing them in scrumpy then I think they played daggis.
Few other bands on the time at daggis if I remember , CBIT mates played ( post or public house pirates ) but I could be wrong.
