Bod No. He did play a German officer in the film "Escape to Victory" alongside Michael Caine. The rank was Major I believe. Fans of horror movies will remember him best as the exorcist in the film of the same name. He also played the lead role as the knight who challenges death to a game of chess in Ingmar Bergman's acclaimed "The Seventh Seal". He played alongside Tom Cruise in the film adaptation of Phillip K Dick's "Minority Report" making poor old Tom look, er, wooden. He's always been superb for me. 90 Years old though; good innings.
