doggybag Loose_Lips First came to my notice when I watched the film, "The People versus Larry Flynt" and was impressed. There's an iconic photo of Flynt and Harrelson turning up at the Oscars (I believe but could have been some other awards). Anyway, Woody wore a suit made from hemp.. I've been looking for one ever since but they ain't cheap. You left a trail Larry. RIP
Cooley Harvest How about the Hurricane when he’d had a few? Probably one of the most unpredictable’sportsmen’ of all time. You didn’t know whether he was gonna shake your hand or glass you. Mountjoy and Charlton, yes, without doubt. Meo? Really? I thought he was more wide-boy than anything else - unless you know something I don’t.
Cooley Reggie_Perrin I think that pretty much sums him up. Puzzles me why such people are often lionised (if that’s the right word).
oneallanclarke CBIT Oh dear. That 78 team fascinated me as a teen. Their rhythm and pulse was brilliant, not scared to mix it up to get possession, patiently keeping the ball till the change to the quick tempo, threading passes to either Luque or Kempes.
