Anchor Reggie_Perrin Coulod they not put sellotape over the safety tabs and record on him again. Or something.
Jon Just seen this. A little shocked to be honest. I don’t want to define him by Ray but you were in one camp or the other. Ours was a Marvin house. Fought anyone who would get in the ring with him. Had to wait a long time for a title shot. A true legend of boxing. As far as I’m aware, a gentleman outside the ring. Sad night. Too young.
CBIT zico At least give him his full name Marvellous Marvin Hagler Who did he fight when all those idiots bottled the ring after he won ? (Minter?? but i cba to goggle it.....)
Bod That's a shock, one of the greats, in an era when boxing was a spectacle and exciting to watch, he was in some classic fights. RIP
Reggie_Perrin Jon same in ours. I am not a fan of the way Leonard fought really, Duran was my favourite but Marvin wasn’t far behind.
Jon Reggie_Perrin Hagler gave Leonard every concession for that fight to happen. Ali and Duran for me but Hagler had it all. Did it the hard way, Ray had the money and the sport behind him.
Foxy_Dread Interesting video for a boxing novice like me, I cannot remember who wins, so i'm enjoying watching this unfold.
Travis_Bickle His victory over Hearns was his greatest? It was brutal stuff. Fight of the Year for 1980 and it only went three rounds.
