You still mates? Taking his ex to see Prince was a bit of poor form if you ask me Zico.
I`ve got a mate who was going out with a girl who was a big Prince fan, but he wasn`t. He`s a good lad, but fidelity has never been top on his list of priorities. He thought it would be a sign of his undying love if he took this girlfriend to see Prince.
He was however, shagging another girl around this time and the Prince fan found out. She took it very badly. To make matters worse she was head of his department at his work. In short he was fucked.
He transferred to a completely different department in another building and not wanting to go to the concert was left with the 2 tickets. Being good samaritans, me and another mate bought the tickets off him.
Not long after he emigrated to Brazil where he`s lived for over 20 years now. Met him for a drink when he was over in March, didn`t mention Prince, but will next time I see him. :)
One thing I remember about the concert was seeing Daniella Westbrook as we were leaving, the lad I was with remarked how cute she looked. That was before she`d taken enough coke to kill a wild horse, mind.
