Got out today, did about 18 miles. From mine to Roundhay park up, went down Hill 60 (diagonally) acorss the mud and grass cyclo style, through Gorge on to the Ring Road then home. Toes were like blocks of ice.

Right. Next weekend. Let's be having you lot. Road ride. I suggest Cragg Vale over this end or out to the Dales if more from Leeds. Keep it sensible but try and get at least 30-odd miles in. There's a loop round here from ours that goes through Halifax, up Cragg Vale and then can drop down into Ripponden and back into Halifax through Sowerby Bridge.Alternatively, we turn right at the end of the climb, drop into Littleborough then back via Tod and Hebden. Both good trips out. First one has a bastard of a stretch back to the main road. Can double up or extend if people want to be out longer.Either way let's get out and ride a bit of the Tour route.
