They reckoned doing it in an empty velodrome would make him go quicker. Pressure was more to do with the weather apparently.Someone will do 56km soon. Boardman (56.6km) and Rominger rode further but did it on bikes that wouldn't confirm to UCI standards. I've no idea what I could do. Never fancied track or TTing. Promised myself I'll get back on the MTB with a vengeance once this C2C lark is out of the way.
