Specialized Crosstrail EN14764 made and bought in 2013, for recreational, daily commute and fitness use. This superb hybrid bike is made for public highways and off-road. In good working condition, yet with expected scratches and signs of wear. This bike hasn't been used for 8 months so chain oil is required. All defects are minor and only aesthetic.
Similarly on well paved roads, it never felt too bulky or heavy. The Wheel size is 700x45c which, although they are quite big, offers more durability and stability on the more uneven ground. The Suspension system is a SR Suntour NVX with 75mm travel, coil springs (both sides) with pre-load adjust. It has a Shimano Altus Rear Derailleur RD-M310 with 7 back and 3 front speeds.
17-19 inch frame. Suitable for anyone 5'7-5'11 tall

Been on the road bike for the last couple of weeks so it was great to get back on the MTB today.
Parked up at Langsett and did Cut Gate, a MTB classic. Went over the bars at one point, pedal strike probably caused by not having put enough air in my shock, but other than that it was a cracker. Some steep and techy stuff. And long. Had a ride round the reservoir to get a coffee at the cafe. Brilliant day. Took my new GoPro (Mrs bought me it) but didn't set it right on the chest mount (it's called a 'Chesty', I kid you not) so the footage was mainly of my bike's top tube. At least I'll get it right for next time. Happy days....

By being useless I left the Legnano bike behind in Spain. I miss it far too much and want another one. So that will be me scouring ebay for the foreseeable future.
I will only get about 3000 miles in this year so well short of my targeted 5000.
I've started a new challenge of 5k, in a year, ending on Sept 30 2017, I made a bad start last time and never recovered. I'm hoping some good early miles will spur me on when the weather gets shit. I also need to avoid illness this time.
I've been riding my commuter in a single gear, my legs have strengthened up and I need more gear so I'm getting a new chainring this week along with some disc brakes.

Can someone do me a favour, take a look at this and work out what the frame size is

Travis you should look up the Isle of Man End To End, it's only about 42 miles or so but the times taken by around 1000 entrants range from just over 3 hours to 7 hours. It's off road almost all of the way.
The next one is September 2017.
