Trails in Calderdale were bone dry this weekend. Happy days.

So, that Dutch lass who crashed out while leading the road race in Rio........Apparently she's OK but it looked horrific, they didn't replay it and the news this morning froze it just as she lost the back endSimilar happened in the men's race but the cameras missed most of the action as-it-happened as , it seems, the morobikes couldn't keep up with the push ironsChris Boardman quite vocal about it saying the course was too dangerous with not enough safety featuresEither way, made for compelling viewing!

Looked like the front wheel skidded and then regained grip, causing what motorcyclists refer to as a "high side". It's usually bad news because then you're going over head first and there's an angry motorcycle rolling after you. Seems criminal that the very high curb was not covered in crash barrier.

Just fucking stacked it again on me way home. Right in the middle of Wakey, with full chorus of approving cheers from the pissheads outside The Strafford.Hit the deck like a shit parcel. Bit grazed but not too bad. Just happy I didn't shred any kit.

Looking forward to Sagan riding in the Olympic MTB

How much should i be paying for this? taSpecialized Crosstrail EN14764 made and bought in 2013, for recreational, daily commute and fitness use. This superb hybrid bike is made for public highways and off-road. In good working condition, yet with expected scratches and signs of wear. This bike hasn't been used for 8 months so chain oil is required. All defects are minor and only aesthetic.Similarly on well paved roads, it never felt too bulky or heavy. The Wheel size is 700x45c which, although they are quite big, offers more durability and stability on the more uneven ground. The Suspension system is a SR Suntour NVX with 75mm travel, coil springs (both sides) with pre-load adjust. It has a Shimano Altus Rear Derailleur RD-M310 with 7 back and 3 front speeds.17-19 inch frame. Suitable for anyone 5'7-5'11 tallAlso comes with the following accessories included in the price:LightsKryptonite New York lock worth £110 (Best lock you can buy for bikes)Beto foot pump worth £25BellTop of the range safety helmet for male/female worth £65

You can get a new-ish one for under £300, so, for that age, I'd pay no more than £130 for the job lot. Now, if you'd like a 58cm Cannondale Synapse (alloy frame, Kinesis carbon fork) with, mostly, Shimano 105 parts and Mavic Ksyrium wheels.......I can do that for a pony.;)
