By being useless I left the Legnano bike behind in Spain. I miss it far too much and want another one. So that will be me scouring ebay for the foreseeable future. I will only get about 3000 miles in this year so well short of my targeted 5000. I've started a new challenge of 5k, in a year, ending on Sept 30 2017, I made a bad start last time and never recovered. I'm hoping some good early miles will spur me on when the weather gets shit. I also need to avoid illness this time.I've been riding my commuter in a single gear, my legs have strengthened up and I need more gear so I'm getting a new chainring this week along with some disc brakes.

Travis you should look up the Isle of Man End To End, it's only about 42 miles or so but the times taken by around 1000 entrants range from just over 3 hours to 7 hours. It's off road almost all of the way.The next one is September 2017.

No. We didn't really stop tbh. 32 miles but felt longer. Going to do the Etape Du Dales again next year so need to get some miles in.
