I'm 6'4, I think he's 6'6 ish.I got through 2 bladders which is probably in excess of 5 litres. I ate at the two feed stations. I reckon the chest infection and lack of riding did it. Feel okay today.

No wheelies or no handed? Disappointing.
CharlieG
Knackered. 66 miles and 5500 feet of climbing in 5 hours. Considering it was - a) Me and b) a bike whose biggest gear is 38/11, I'm pretty pleased with that.
Young_Marxist_at_Tescos
Great effort; how come you've no bigger chainring than a 38?

Which I why I'm thinking of getting a mountain bike.Cleaned the bike up, new lube, new brake pads, bar tape. Got out about half an hour ago. Heavens opened. Just mashed it for half an hour. Soaked, sweaty and heart pounding in my chest like a steam hammer. Legs like jelly. Feels strangely good. Hope your mate's ok and well done with the nipper. Three kids bikes in our basement gathering dust.

I fancy something cool and straightforward to ride on Canals. I am rather excited. Plus I alos found an old BMX track near my house I might have a spin on.I did the Halfordscycle2work scheme jobbie - £34 a month for a year.
