Scotland have had World class players -Dalglish, Bremner, Law, Johnstone etc but have never been able to progress from the 'In it for the piss up' mentality. Denmark have done it, Portugal have, Iceland have had their own degree of success. Scotland seem to see beating England in 67 and wrecking Wembley in 77 as their major achievements.
