Gladiator II. Dreadful. One of the worst films ever made. Probably the worst I’ve seen. No redeeming qualities at all. Abysmal acting, terrible dialogue, awful plot/script. I didn’t expect historical accuracies from a blockbuster, but the sci-fi killer monkeys and sharks were a bit much (how would they have transported them in and out of the colosseum?). It doesn’t follow on from the first one either really … well, not without trashing the original. Maximus’ son? So, he wasn’t really that dedicated husband and father to his family back in Spain then?
