Placid AndreWeimaraner Gladiator II. Dreadful. One of the worst films ever made. Probably the worst I’ve seen. No redeeming qualities at all. Abysmal acting, terrible dialogue, awful plot/script. I didn’t expect historical accuracies from a blockbuster, but the sci-fi killer monkeys and sharks were a bit much (how would they have transported them in and out of the colosseum?). It doesn’t follow on from the first one either really … well, not without trashing the original. Maximus’ son? So, he wasn’t really that dedicated husband and father to his family back in Spain then? Is Phil Neal Ridley Scott’s consultant? “So, Phil, I’m thinking of blokes riding massive rhinos around Rome …”. “Oooh, yes boss.” So what do you really think
