Just got back from seeing the new Avatar film in Imax 3D. As per the reviews, it is "visually stunning". Utterly glorious to watch on Imax 3D, but at 3 hours and 12 minutes (and no intermission) it is massively self indulgent.
Although I enjoyed it I am left with the feeling that I have just spent £19 to witness James Cameron having the longest and most expensive wank of all time.
